An overview of the function and details regarding lands in Rytell
One of the features we are most excited about is the initial release of land and the crafting economy.
The path to greatness is not an easy one. In order to prepare for the challenges ahead, you will need to understand more about the hidden riches in the world of Rytell.
Each plot of land in Rytell produces a pair of resources. Stone, Wood, Iron, Wheat, and Radi, depending on the land type. Castles are unique in that they are the only land-type that produce Radi.
We wanted land in Rytell to be finite, useful, and appropriately valued like land in the real world. We spent a lot of time gauging the value/ rarity of the resources these lands produce in the ways that would seem natural and intuitive.
Lands will be airdropped to Rytell NFT holders at a 1:1 ratio. Land will only be able to produce resources when being overseen by a Rytell native. There will be a cap of 50,000 base lands. 10,000 dropped to Rytell NFT holders and 40,000 to be earned in game.
While there will always be a cap of 50,000 base lands, occasionally there may be expansions. These expansions will not produce any base level resources (wheat, stone, wood..) but may be used to add new crafting ingredients, seasonal items, or other secondary uses.
1. Upgrading land resource production
Each Rytell land plot has two resource buildings.
Resources are used to upgrade the resource output of each building. The scaling of these upgrades will be logarithmic in nature to keep upward pressure on the 4 other resource tokens.
2. Crafting items
Resources can be used to craft equippable items such as weapons, armor, potions, etc. Items alter a hero’s base stats in the idle mining game.
We are so excited to release these land deeds and look forward to seeing Rytell populated! After lands are sent out, we will be focusing on rapid expansion of the map as we move forward and consistently rolling out new features and locations for players to travel and explore. Thanks to every single person in our community and we cannot wait to share what the team has been working on!
